Today I had to settle on a bet. It was just February 6th when we were buried under 20+ inches of snow with single digit temperatures. It was a series of record breaking weather events. I'm not sure what came over me, but I made a $10 bet with my wife that all of the snow would be gone in 2 weeks.At the time it sounded like a pretty foolish statement at the very least, much less to risk a sawbuck over it. For a while there, things were looking really good for me with the rebounding temperatures. My wife became depressed as she watched the snow disappear right before her eyes along her commute to work, and I thought I had it in the bag.
Well Debby wouldn't give up, and my tenacious wife drove through the highways and by ways to find this dirty snowball she photographed with her iPhone.
