This week I spent a few days in the Grilla Ray’s Test Kitchen. It sounds like a lot of fun, doesn’t it? Let me warn you, if you ever get invited to see what goes on behind the doors of a test kitchen, make sure you get it in writing that you can leave whenever you choose. Anytime you combine measuring cups, mixing bowls, and whisks together …not to mention fire and knives… a recipe for madness is close at hand.HDRD (Hot Dog Research & Development) is something we take very seriously here at Grilla Ray’s. I’ve been kicking around a few ideas for the menu, and more importantly, the signature hot-dog that will make Grilla Ray’s unique.
I can’t officially release a statement what that taste experience consists of yet. However, you can count on it to be a tropical guilty pleasure.
