If you Google “hot dog cart” you’ll get about 154,000 results. The information and web sites and news groups forums on the hot dog vending business is staggering. Would it be an understatement to say Americans love hot dogs?
When it comes to hot-dog cart design, it seemed to me there was more emphasis on function and less aesthetic sensibilities. Most of the carts I found looked more like stainless steel space probes not really sure which side was front or back.
And then I stumbled upon Top Dog Carts out of Orlando Florida. It was love at first sight, like the first time saw the new Ford Mustang when it came out in 1964.

The low profile makes for a very sexy cart!
It was clear that Top Dog put some thought into their design. Now that I had found it, I only had one question. “Where can I find a used one?”
